Kathryn Towner, president and owner of WinCommunications, and Kendra Erkamaa, CEO and owner of Triangle Financial Services, have been selected to lead NAWBO Iowa as co-presidents of the organization’s 2018-19 board of directors. The two new leaders will work together to expand NAWBO Iowa’s mission throughout the state by focusing on continued membership growth and partnerships with local organizations, according to a release. “We are coming into leadership during a period of impressive growth in our organization,” Towner said. “We want to impact the success of every women entrepreneur in the state, and to do that, we need to increase both our membership and partnerships.” NAWBO Iowa recently was recognized as the fastest-growing midsize NAWBO chapter in the nation, according to the release. It was also tabbed as the midsized chapter with the highest member retention rate.
